Your email, the street address(es) you ask us to watch, an optional mobile number, and your alert history (what we sent, when, and your 🧊/❌ replies).
Sending you weather alerts. That's the product and the whole use. We also use your hail reports in aggregated, anonymized form (e.g., how many confirmed reports per neighborhood) to improve alert accuracy and, in the future, to power aggregate hail-verification statistics. Individual addresses and reports are never included in anything we sell or share.
We never sell your address, email, or phone number. We never share your individual data with roofers, contractors, insurers, marketers, or anyone else. We don't run ads and we don't do lead generation.
SMS alerts are sent only with your explicit opt-in. Message frequency varies with the weather. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time, HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase. We log the time of your consent. Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in/consent data are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We use Cloudflare (hosting), Postmark (email), Twilio (SMS), and Stripe or our merchant-of-record partner (payments). Each receives only what it needs to deliver its function. Site analytics are privacy-first (Plausible): no cookies, no personal data, no cross-site tracking.
Every message includes a manage link where you can change your address, pause alerts, or delete your account and all associated data. Deletion is processed within 30 days. Colorado residents have rights under the Colorado Privacy Act; email privacy@hailpass.com to exercise them.
HailPass is a convenience service built on public NOAA/NWS data. For life-safety decisions, always follow official National Weather Service warnings.
